Crystal Sweater Pattern

Designed by Helga Isager. English language printed pattern.

The sweater is worked in the round from the bottom up. The design has a V-neck and set-in sleeves. Stitches are picked up and knitted along the armholes and the sleeves are worked down from there and finished with tight cuffs. The stitches for the rib at the hem are cast on using the Italian cast-on technique and stitches are bound off at neck and cuffs using the Italian bind-off technique.

GAUGE

In pattern on a 5,5 mm US9 needles:
10 cm 4 inches = 15 sts
10 cm 4 inches = 21 rows
Rib (k1, p1 – un-stretched) on a 4,5 mm US7 needle:
10 cm 4 inches = 22 sts
10 cm 4 inches = 22 rows
