A glorious new addition to our extensive range of NEVER ITCHY silk mohair yarns!
Mohair Bliss passes our very rigorous quality tests for a lace-weight silk mohair. This one is a premium and luxurious blend of 60% Super Kid Mohair and a whopping 40% Mulberry Silk.What makes this one extra special? The fineness of mohair. Pascuali have used a rare "superkid" mohair fibre, measuring 24-26 microns. These fibres are the softest, finest, most luxurious fleece which young goats will ever produce.Â
Grown, spun and dyed in South Africa by an internationally renowned manufacturer with over 25 years of experience in the creation of outstanding quality mohair yarns. Their angora goats are carefully combed to collect the naturally moulting undercoat.
The final spin has created a yarn that barely sheds at all, and won't get right up your nose like some inferior silk mos. It's luxurious, delicate and surprisingly durable.Knit single or double stranded, or pair it with other yarns to add halo and glow, and give your fabrics the ultimate upgrade.
We adore the colour palette, which is another reason we had to have it. 30 vibrant and sophisticated shades, which happen to go beautiully with so many of our yarns, including wonderful Balayage.Â

Also, please ignore some of the colour descriptions - we haven't named them, so they might be misleading.. e.g. turmeric is more of a carrot-tangerine than turmeric, nature is a gorgeous pale powder pink, amber is camel..)

The company owner personally travels to far-flung locations to visit each farm and inspect the farm animal treatment and housing conditions. Yarns are never purchased through intermediaries. The wool quality is as much in focus as the conditions on the farms for our company. ÂBefore we choose the wool of the best quality we check out 20 fair farms with the same wool.Â
