  • This is EXACTLY what we want in a yarn - it's gorgeously soft, but retains its natural wooliness, it's responsibly produced, and organic, and comes in such an exciting range of colours!

It can be used across a generous range of needle sizes (and patterns), because it will squish and bloom as needed.

It's amazing all on its own, or held with a Silk Mo.

AND it's traceable, organic and sustainably produced from the beautiful merino fleeces of the ancient Italian sheep breed called Merino Gentile Puglia.

These sheep graze on organic fruit and olive groves in small habitats in Puglia. This means that the sheep are naturally healthy and live in harmony with the fruit farmers. This wool goes straight from the farmers to the Gepard mill, which results in better prices for the farmer, and traceability for us.

This amazing yarn is naturally and super resistant to pilling, and has generous yardage with a whole 132m per 50g ball.

Perfect for all your garments and accessories. We love it on 4 - 5mm needles, or 5-6mm needles when held with silk mo.

So, of course, we stock every colour available.

Gepard collaborates with small, family-owned, Italian yarn mills with tradition and extensive knowledge of spinning and dying – the sort of knowledge that makes them among the premier in Italy both for trend product and classic yarns.

We love the fact that these yarns are unique, high quality and yet accessible. And we love the colour palettes which are always fun and easy to style.
